What\xe2\x80\x99s the role?

Our client Deloitte, a Big Four Firm are looking for experienced ESG Business Analysts to work as part of complex ESG disclosure requirements program regarding evolving emissions calculations methodologies within the financial services industry.

The successful candidate will work collaboratively with other Business Analysts and key stakeholders to ensure solutions meet the needs of the business.

Responsibilities:

• Support the Banks ESG disclosure requirements program regarding evolving emissions calculations methodologies within the financial services industry.
• Support activities to ensure financed emissions exposures are recorded and reported accurately.
• Use data and applying data logic to determine the correct client populations are in scope
• Use data to create a master client list that has been reviewed to ensure accuracy
• Assess and source data from multiple sources e.g. financial statements, ESG reports, external data lists
• Assess current classification of client master groups and determine that they meet the correct FE definitions.
• Reclassify existing definitions as required using insights and consulting with front line and operational colleagues as needed
• Capture, validate and document business and system requirements to ensure they are in line with key strategic principles.
• Create and maintain documentation, as well as support controls and quality assurance for key stakeholders and suppliers.
• Author and update internal and external documentation, and formally initiate and deliver requirements.

Essential skills & experience required:

• Proven experience in a business analytics capacity.
• Experience in analysing data, performing data evaluations.
• The ability to perform assessments using data modelling, completed data desktop assessments, company investigations.
• A working understanding of the banking environment and a working knowledge of Corporate Banking.
• Experience in Oil & Gas, Agriculture would be beneficial.
• Practical experience generating process documentation.
• Experience working with internal and external clients.
• Strong stakeholder management skills.
