Business Analyst

As a Business Analyst, you will be responsible for identifying business needs, analysing processes, and translating requirements into actionable recommendations. You will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between our business objectives and technology solutions, ensuring that projects are aligned with stakeholder expectations and contribute to the overall success of our organisation. You will be part of a IT transformation project to assist in the implementation of a case management system. You must be able to show leadership qualities and be able to work autonomously.

Key Responsibilities:

With stakeholders from various departments to elicit, document, and validate business requirements. Conduct interviews, workshops, and surveys to gain a comprehensive understanding of project needs.

Analyse current business processes and workflows to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and opportunities for improvement.

Create clear and concise requirement documents, including use cases, user stories, and functional specifications

Collaborate with technical teams to translate business requirements into actionable technical specifications. Ensure they adhere to best practices.

Utilize data-driven insights to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for informed decision-making. Develop reports and visualizations to communicate findings to stakeholders.

Experience and Skills:

Process documentation and use of Visio, Lucid Charts or equivalent essential.

Ability and experience in managing and developing staff, and able to work under pressure on multiple projects within your project timeframes.

Relevant experience of business systems analysis is essential. Ability to work in groups, analyse data, use technology and manage projects.

A degree is an advantage (Business information systems or Business computing systems etc.)

Demonstrate excellent analytical skills.
