Job Description

Due to a number of new contract wins in the South East of England, a new and exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Multi-Skilled Building Services Maintenance Engineer to join Kimera Facilities Management UK Ltd, covering various sites and contracts across the South East of England.

Ideally to be situated in Reading or the surrounding areas, this mobile engineering role will offer a wide range of working locations including luxury hotels, schools, Universities, offices, showrooms, and Builders/Plumbers Merchants.

We are specifically looking for an individual who is a self-starter and has aspirations to develop the role to supervisory/management level as the business continues to grow and expand in the region.

Main Duties:

Provide maintenance duties/servicing and other maintenance task in line with qualifications and experience, such as Emergency Light Testing, Water Hygiene Maintenance (L8), Building Inspections and Mechanical Plant Maintenance (AHU's/Pumps/FCUs)

Provide a reactive breakdown/repair service across Kimera's commercial customer portfolio. Electrical Repairs (Lighting repairs/replacements), plumbing repairs (tap/pipework replacement/pump replacements), Building Fabric Repairs.

Provide quotations for any remedial work identified during maintenance visits or breakdowns.

Personal Specification:

Essential:
Minimum of 4 years in similar role
Outstanding customer service skills
Legionella Awareness Training
Electrically competent with minimum qualification of 18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations, with willingness to undertake 18th Edition if not already qualified.
Plumbing qualification or demonstratable experience.
Knowledge of commercial buildings water/heating systems
