Job Description
As a Bricklayer at Willis Construction Ltd, you'll be responsible for laying bricks, concrete blocks, stone, and other materials to construct and repair walls, foundations, and other structures. You'll work alongside a team of experienced tradespeople on a variety of projects from new builds to renovations.
Key Responsibilities:
Interpret blueprints and follow building plans
Lay bricks, blocks, and stone in horizontal rows using mortar
Mix and apply mortar and grout
Ensure alignment, leveling, and quality of brickwork
Repair and maintain existing masonry structures
Operate power tools, masonry saws, and other construction equipment
Follow all health and safety protocols on-site
Qualifications:
Proficient in hand tools and power tools essential for masonry work Strong skills in bricklaying and masonry techniques Ability to work independently and as part of a team Attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship Relevant certifications in masonry or construction are preferred
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: 21.50 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 15 per week
