Bread Slicer/packing
Job Description
As a bread slicer this role will include working with our dedicated team at our bakery in Greenbank Industrial Estate, Newry. The position will be needed for four mornings per week. Three days of the week will be approx 6am-10am, and Saturdays mornings from 5am-10am (approx). There may be a requirement for some extra hours during holiday cover.
Responsibilities:
-Slicing a range of bread products through our slicing machine
- Pack items into designated packaging according to company standards
- Ensure that items are properly sealed and labeled
- Inspect products for any defects or damages
- Maintain a clean and organised work area
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines
Requirements:
- Previous experience in packing or warehouse environment preferred but not required
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
