We have a fantastic new position for a Brand & PR Assistant within our Marketing & Communications team.

This is a full-time, office based at our Support Centre in Speke, Liverpool L24.

We are looking for someone passionate about brand marketing and PR, with knowledge of social media and digital marketing. The role will be ideal for someone wanting to start their career in a fast-paced and varied business. The candidate will be a key player in our brand marketing and PR team, and the role will be incredibly hands-on and varied. The role will assist and help to deliver all external communications across multiple departments.

he key accountabilities as a Press & Brand Assistant:

Be responsible for helping to execute the PR and marketing strategy, from inception to execution.

Produce content for product and new store press mailers and releases.

Build long-term relations with suppliers, press, influencers etc. and assist with the onboarding of suitable new influencer partners.

Assist with the creation of product lookbooks for journalists to ensure that we maximise our exposure.

Be able to think on your feet and react quickly to effectively deal with urgent press enquiries and raise any urgent requests and enquiries from the public, the press, and related organisations with the line manager.

The ideal candidate will have the following skills/experience:

Ideally, one year of experience within a marketing or press department of an agency or in a fast-paced PR team elsewhere.

A reasonable understanding of, and love and interest in all things brand, marketing , brand and PR.

Excellent communication skills including the ability to communicate directly and effectively with journalists, influencers, internal buying teams and other external stakeholders.

Meticulous attention to detail and a fantastic collaborator

Able to think outside the box, creative and goes the extra mile to drive initiatives!

Thirst for learning and flexible approach with a positive, can-do attitude.
