Job Description

We're looking for a proactive and creative Brand & Marketing Lead to take ownership of our marketing function. As a standalone role, you'll be responsible for shaping our brand identity and delivering marketing activity across digital and offline channels. This includes supporting leadership in developing and implementing strategy, producing engaging content, managing our website and communications, and driving business growth through targeted brand and marketing efforts - including CRM management using Smartsheet.

You'll work closely with leadership and other departments, acting as the go-to for all things marketing. This role suits someone who's confident working independently, enjoys both strategy and hands-on delivery, and is looking to make a real impact in a growing business.

Essential Responsibilities



Assist with developing and executing the overall brand and marketing strategy aligned with business goals Lead brand positioning, tone of voice, and visual identity to ensure consistency across all touchpoints, using established brand guidelines Plan and deliver marketing campaigns across digital (particularly LinkedIn) and traditional channels to support strategic objectives Write, design, or commission marketing content including case studies and video using site drone footage (via Canva or equivalent) Oversee the company website (Wix), managing content updates, structure, and user experience Track and report on marketing KPIs and campaign performance to guide future activity and inform Board reporting Manage relationships with external agencies and freelancers (e.g. design, copywriting, PR/comms) Provide in-house design support as needed Support internal and external communications, events, and PR to raise the company's profile Collaborate with business development teams to create supporting materials and campaigns Participate in weekly team meetings and monthly internal training sessions Attend occasional site visits and site meetings Carry out general administration tasks as required

Key Skills



Level 4 CIM qualification essential Minimum 2 years experience working in marketing environment essential Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and relevant software (e.g. Canva, Adobe Suite, Smartsheet, Google Analytics, social media platforms, CMS tools) essential Excellent written and verbal communication skills Confident working independently but also a strong team player Able to take direction and adapt to changing priorities Creative, digitally literate, and technically competent Highly organised and self-motivated with a strong attention to detail Comfortable working under pressure and managing multiple tasks Customer-focused with excellent relationship-building skills Data-driven mindset with a focus on learning and iteration Experience in renewable energy, construction, or B2B environments
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 25,000.00-30,000.00 per year
