This role requires a high level of accuracy, organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with both administrative staff and attorneys.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain accurate financial records and general ledgers
Manage accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing and payment tracking
Reconcile bank statements on a monthly basis
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
Assist with budgeting and financial planning processes
Prepare financial documentation and support external accountants and auditors as needed
Monitor and manage expense reports, disbursements, and reimbursements
Collaborate with internal teams on financial matters
Requirements:
Proven experience in bookkeeping or a similar financial role
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations
Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office (especially Excel)
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Relevant certification or degree in accounting, finance, or related field
Experience working in a legal or professional services environment is a plus
