The Bookkeeper is responsible for maintaining the charity's financial records, ensuring that all transactions are accurately logged, and assisting in financial reporting. You will work closely with the finance team to ensure that financial practices are transparent, efficient, and in compliance with charity law.
Position within Organisation
The bookkeeper reports to the Finance Manager.
Main Tasks Involved
Meticulously record all financial activities, including sales, purchases, payments, and expenses.
Maintenance of sales ledgers
Maintenance of purchase ledgers
Processing of payments
Overseeing delivery of artists' self-billing invoices
Ensuring data entry to accountancy software is consistent and meticulously recorded

PERSON SPECIFICATION
Essential Qualifications and Experience
Relevant finance qualification (full or part qualified) or similar experience
Minimum of two years' experience using Sage 50 and / or Xero
Desirable Experience
Experience of Xero
Experience of taking part in a change of accountancy software
Experience of Salesforce CRM

Terms & Conditions
This is a part time role offered at 21 hours pw (0.6 FTE).
Our offices are based in London and we offer hybrid working. For the right candidate we might consider remote working.
Salary: 27k-30k pa pro rata (0.6 FTE).
Holiday: 25 days (including 3 faith days) + 8 Public Holidays pro rata. 2 further days pro rata after 5 years' service. A beautiful office based in the City of London. Hybrid working is available following induction period.
21-hour week: standard office hours are 9.30am-5.30pm, Monday to Friday with an hour for lunch. Work outside these hours is required on occasions.
