We are seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
Responsibilities
Maintain and update financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
Process accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing, payments, and reconciliations.
Managing accounts inbox
Dealing with customer/suppliers calls
Raising applications/invoices when required
Manage payroll processing and related tasks as required.
Skills
Proficiency in Sage Payroll software is essential.
Proficienct in accountancy software with Xero would be beneficial but training will be given
Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and general bookkeeping principles.
Excellent attention to detail with a high accuracy in financial reporting.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively within deadlines.
Good communication skills, both written and verbal, to liaise effectively with team members and external stakeholders.
16 hours per week required, start and finish times can be flexible for the right candidate but a Monday is a mandatory working day. Additional hours during busy periods may be required to accommodate the business needs but will be planned and agreed.
