JOB SUMMARY:
Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
We are seeking a Body & Interior Design Engineer to join our innovative team!
Designing vehicles within the 'blue light' sector as part of the design engineering team.
Utilize SolidWorks to create accurate 3D models.
Converting the 3D models into technical drawings suitable for tendering, manufacturing & supply processes.
Design to the relevant regulations such as Type Approval, BS EN1789:2020, IVA requirements etc.
Create engineering release documents supporting BOM, Procurement & Production
Work across multiple projects and provide support to colleagues when required.
Other duties as required by the business.
Attributes, Skills & Experience:
Working experience of SolidWorks. Formal qualification preferable.
Technical qualification in a suitable discipline.
Experience in an automotive manufacturing environment or CAD office.
Excellent attention to detail.
Working to deadlines.
Full UK driving licence.
Flexible hours office based Monday-Thursday with WFH on Fridays. This is based on 40 hours per week.
