BMS Project Engineer

Learnd is seeking a skilled and motivated BMS Project Engineer to join our growing team in the Ipswich area. The ideal project engineer will have a background in Trend, Tridium, or Schneider systems. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality BMS projects, from design to commissioning, while ensuring client satisfaction and maintaining high system integration standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver BMS projects from initial design through to commissioning and handover for learnd major projects team. Develop, configure, and commission BMS systems, focusing on Trend, Tridium, or Schneider platforms. Work closely with clients to understand project requirements and ensure expectations are met or exceeded. Collaborate with internal teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure successful project delivery. Produce and maintain project documentation, including designs, risk assessments, method statements, and O&M manuals. Report project progress, challenges, and solutions regularly to the Regional Manager. Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental policies and standards. Provide technical support and guidance to clients and internal teams.

Requirements:

Proven experience working with Trend, Tridium, or Schneider BMS systems. Strong understanding of BMS control principles, HVAC systems, and integration with other building services. Excellent project management and organisation skills. Strong communication and client-facing skills. Ability to work independently and within a team environment. Full UK driving license.
