Interview process

We typically conduct a two-stage interview process. This can be summarised as follows:

Stage 1

The interview will begin with an Initial MS Teams call involving the BIM Manager, Senior BIM Coordinator and the candidate. This will typically last between 30-60 minutes.

There won't be a Revit test, but instead, we will run through a live Revit model. During this hands-on segment, the candidate will be given control of the model and asked to demonstrate various tasks such as:

General familiarity with Architectural GAs

Navigating through the model

Turning elements on / off using view templates

General Cleaning up of the views.

Creating and applying filter

Basic family creation etc.

Stage 2

Candidate who successfully complete the initial interview will be invited to a second stage interview. This session will be attended by our Senior staff, along with a Senior BIM Coordinator, and the candidate.

The focus of this stage is to have a more in-depth discussion about the candidate's potential role within IN2, their alignment with the company's values and objectives, and how they can contribute to ongoing and future MEP projects. While this session is less focused on Revit-specific skills, candidates can expect questions related to MEP systems, coordination, and project experience.

This stage will also cover:

Discussion of employment terms Salary expectations Start date and working arrangements Opportunities for growth and development within the company

It's an opportunity for both parties to ensure the role is a good mutual fit and to align expectations moving forward.
