We\xe2\x80\x99re looking for a BIM Manager / Revit Specialist to join our Transportation team based in Birmingham to support Major Projects and Local Highway Authority schemes development, including BIM Management, REVIT 3D modelling specialist work, AutoCAD and use of CADS RC to detail reinforced concrete drawings for preliminary and detail design. A full UK driving license is essential for the role as site visits will be required. Responsibilities

As a BIM Manager you\xe2\x80\x99ll assist with the preparation of technical solutions to engineering problems as directed. This will involve BIM management and developing REVIT 3D modelling and 3D CAD drawings using, AutoCAD for Transport projects as well as training, developing and directing junior technicians in the team.

Your day to day will include:

\xc2\xb7 Prepare drawings, documents using specialist software including REVIT 3D and AUTOCAD. Provide technical guidance and training to develop junior technicians using this software.

\xc2\xb7 Plan and communicate timescales for work production, manage and report on progress to engineers and managers for the various projects

\xc2\xb7 Undertake other services within an engineering environment which may include data collection and analysis, preparing reports, specifications and drawings to progress scheme design, development and construction on site.

What are we looking for?

This role of BIM Manager is great for you if have:

\xc2\xb7 Highly experienced in relevant design software in using AutoCAD, REVIT, CADS RC and ProjectWise and associated standards; proficient in the production of engineering drawings and computer generated models for bridge structures

\xc2\xb7 Experience in BIM management and BEP development

\xc2\xb7 Experience of reinforced concrete and steel structures design and/or maintenance

\xc2\xb7 Experience of training and developing other team members in use of software and drawing production
