Big Data Architect - Telecommunications - Up to \xc2\xa3120k.
OB have partnered with a long term client on the telecomms space that are looking for a Big Data Architect. They are looking for a Big Data Architect who will provide technical leadership in architecting and designing end to end solutions for their Datalake initiatives as they embark on their mission to offer more cost effective and more efficient services across multiple channels. In addition. the successful candidates will drive improvements in the current design, processes & implementation to
improve operational management, scalability, and extensibility!
Some responsibilities:
- Articulate business and data requirements from business analysts across the various functional and business areas.
- Hands-on technical big data architect with extensive experience in designing big data solutions using open source and cloud native technologies.
- Technical line management of remote big data engineering team (10-15). Responsible for engineering excellence, resource management, hiring, coaching engineers, and timely delivery of committed work.
- Collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders to identify and define customer needs.
