Core Responsibilities

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Bid Writer located in Slough, with some work-from-home flexibility. The Bid Writer will be responsible for preparing and writing bids and proposals, ensuring they align with client requirements and company standards. Day-to-day tasks involve researching and gathering necessary information, collaborating with various teams, and ensuring timely submission of bids. The role also includes maintaining accurate records of past bids and continuously improving the bid process.

Other Responsibilities

The Bid Writer will also provide sales, mobilisation administration support for the Director of Business Development and the Estimating team.

You will be contributing to the development of the company sales administration activities as well as working with the estimating team to assist in handover of new awards to the operations team.

Qualifications and Experience required

2+ years' experience in bid writing (ideally in FM) Strong communication, writing, and organisational skills Ability to manage deadlines and multiple submissions Excellent attention to detail and confidence working independently Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel & PowerPoint A proactive mindset and team-oriented attitude
