We're working with a prestigious global law firm who are seeking an Assistant Bid Manager to join their high-performing Business Development team. This is a brilliant opportunity to work closely with senior lawyers and marketing professionals, helping the firm win major client mandates across the UK, Ireland and the Middle East.
Responsibilities include:
Managing the end-to-end pitch and proposal process, including scoping, writing, coordinating input, and final submissions
Working with lawyers, BD, marketing, finance and risk teams to produce compelling, client-focused materials
Developing high-impact sales content including credentials, capability statements, presentations, and fee proposals
Maintaining and enhancing a pitch content library and library of reusable templates
Supporting pricing discussions and applying appropriate methodologies in collaboration with Finance
Capturing pitch outcomes and feedback to drive continuous improvement
Mentoring junior members of the BD team during their pitch rotations
Collaborating with the wider Business Development, Marketing and Communications team to ensure brand consistency
Keeping up to date with market trends and pitch best practices
What we need from you:
3-5 years of experience in a Bids, BD or Pitch role, ideally within professional services or the legal sector
Strong writing and editorial skills with a keen eye for detail
Confident communicator with a commercial mindset

Salary between 40,000 - 50,000 depending on experience
Hybrid working - 3 days in office, 2 days remote
