UK e-Power Bike is looking for a skilled, experienced and motivated Mechanic to join our small but ambitious team. You will be responsible for performing repairs, maintenance, installations and play a vital role in the future growth of the company. This is a hands-on role that requires mechanical knowledge and the ability to use power tools and hand tools. Not only will you share our love for bikes, but also our absolute commitment to putting the customer first.

About UK e-Power Bike:

We aim to make bike - e-Bike & Scooter servicing and repair a painless and hassle-free experience for every type of rider, with the introduction of convenient collection and delivery across High Wycombe and up to a radius of 20 miles.

From our well-equipped workshop (just outside the M25), we work on every type of bike, e-bike & scooters imaginable, from entry level to high end, from kids to cargo - we are riders and love bikes & scooters in all their forms!

About the role:

As a mechanic you will be at the heart of the workshop - assembling, diagnosing faults, servicing and repairing bikes, e-bikes & scooters of all shapes and sizes for customers, whilst maintaining consistently high standards in all areas.

You will provide a great customer experience by supporting with regards to service, repair snd/or sales processes - from giving sound advice to appropriate parts and accessories.

You will contribute to a clean, efficient and disciplined workshop. You'll have developed a sound grasp of e-bike components such as batteries, controllers, display etc. and also our processes, POS system, workshop software (Bike-Book).

You will correctly and consistently record each repair, service and sale in our system for customers' knowledge about the progress of repairs and approvals.

You also will make important contributions to the improvement and future growth of the workshop by thinking outside of the box.

You have a really positive attitude toward customer service You are able to communicate technical information clearly and politely to customers You have a love of bikes and strong technical knowledge about bikes, e-bikes & scooters You are professional and considerate to customers and colleagues at all times You have a flexible and adaptable approach to work You are able to complete process and admin to a high standard You can operate a clean disciplined workspace and care for all tools properly.

Requirements:

Good experience as a Mechanic within the cycle industry, with a Cytech-2 (or equivalent) qualification You are happy to get involved in any off-site activity - such as external event support Ability to work some weekend shifts or events is essential A good level of computer literacy Team player who understands what is important for other disciplines and acts accordingly. Physical ability to lift e-bikes A full UK driver's license is a must Good knowledge and experience working with programs within the Microsoft Offie Suite is an advantage Previous customer service experience is an advantage
