WHAT TO EXPECT

We are looking to appoint a talented Powerpack SWAT Engineer within our Powertrain function to ensure successful testing of the propulsion system on rigs and prototype vehicles and focus on delivering data from tests in support of deign release activity or technology advancement.

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities

• Support build and commissioning of prototype rigs to ensure fit-for-purpose and issues are triaged and resolved quickly.
• Support and/or conduct testing of propulsion system test cases.
• Post-process and analyse test data to confirm pass/fail against technical requirement.
• Generate test report to document test pass/fail and justification.
• Triage issues identified on prototype rigs and vehicles.
• Undertake any other work as directed by their line manager in connection with their job as may be requested

WHAT YOU\'LL NEED

• Understanding of the architecture and function of a BEV propulsion system.
• Technical expertise and experience of testing a high voltage component or system.
• Data analysis and reporting of test data.
• Natural problem-solver with structured approach to problem solving in a technical environment.
• The ability to validate, prepare and read engineering documents.
• Computer literate, including Microsoft Office competency to produce plans, presentations, graphs, process and Single Point Lesson (SPL) documents.
• A UK driving licence
