Supporting behaviour and inclusion within a secondary school in the High Wycombe area
Sports Coaches, Social Workers, Army, Police, Boxers, Door Staff and Graduates welcomed to apply.
A full time Behaviour Support Assistant opportunity has become available in a secondary school in the High Wycombe area. The school is looking to recruit a behaviour mentor with transferrable skills or previous experience supporting pupils with barriers to learning, who display challenging behaviour. Whilst supporting children on a 1:1 or small group basis, as the behaviour mentor, you would be expected to show a calm, caring and nurturing approach as building positive relationships is key to improving behaviour within school.
The school is located in the High Wycombe area and due to an increase in the number of children displaying behavioural challenges so far this academic year, the special needs co-ordinator wants to interview and recruit a behaviour mentor as soon as possible. If you are a graduate of Psychology, come from a profession with transferrable skills or have experience of working with children with challenging behaviours through social work or care work, you would be welcomed to apply for the role.
