Job Summary:

We are seeking a wraparound care lead to join our team working at a primary school near Tunbridge Wells. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with young children to aid in providing a healthy and safe learning environment.

Monday - Friday

Breakfast club: Prepare toast, cereal etc to roughly 20 children. Following this you will set up and oversee a range of indoor activities such as card games and boardgames before leading them to their classrooms.

7.30am to 8.45am - this can be optional if you just wish to just do the after school club.

After school club: Prepare the light meal on our set menu to roughly 20 children. Following this you will lead and oversee children take part in some arts and crafts activities and more fun games before heading home.

3.15pm to 6.15pm

Responsibilities:
- Supervise and lead the day to day runnings of the childcare sessions
- Build good relationships with staff at the school
- Be willing to complete food hygiene training and provide the meals planned by our team
- Provide a fun but controlled environment for children to come to before and after school
- Develop efficient knowledge of the schools ethos and student expectations.

Experience:

- Previously experience in a school or nursery would be preferable.

Required Skills:

- Willing to submit an Enhanced DBS check

- Basic cooking skills

- Confidence when communicating with parents and children

- Confident in leading a group of children through planned activities.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From 13.50 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week
