Job Description


A BD & Sales Manager is wanted to join the team in one of our Europe offices to oversee expansion of our Renewables and Oil and Gas offshore structures and ancillaries business.

In particular, to lead growth in the engineering and delivery of minimum facilities platforms and installation templates. The role with be Europe-based but with responsibility across Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA).

2H Offshore is a leading independent international consultancy at the forefront of offshore and subsea engineering. We specialise in three main areas:

  • Fixed & floating wind, wave & tidal structures
  • Minimum facility platforms & subsea structures
  • Subsea risers, umbilicals, cables and conductors
Our work involves the system design, structural and dynamic analysis, construction, installation management and integrity management of these structures for the offshore Renewables and Oil and Gas industries.

As our BD & Sales Manager you will report to the Global Sales Director and be responsible for overseeing business development and sales activity across the EMEA region. Your priority will be on high-value opportunities related to platform and installation template studies, detailed design, and EPC. The successful candidate will be responsible for:
  • Actively driving the sales opportunities of 2H\'s product and services in the renewables and O&G industries across the EMEA region with a focus on platforms and installation templates
  • Establishing and developing business relations with key customers and partners
  • Tracking and managing leads, opportunities, and sales for the region, ensuring data are registered in 2H Sales Management Systems and supporting the monthly sales report
  • Helping drive development of products and marketing material based on market need
  • Working with the management team to develop and execute region-specific business development plans
  • Working with the engineering and delivery teams to prepare pre-qualification and tender documents
  • Following opportunities through to award, liaising with engineering, delivery, legal and finance as needed to secure the work

  • Successful track record and proven relationships in offshore renewables and/or oil & gas offshore industry with a minimum of 8 years international BD and Sales experience. Familiarity with Middle East and Africa markets is a benefit
  • Strong technical background with an ability to engage in technical discussions with customers/partners and experience in delivering technical solutions to the market place
  • Firm understanding of finance and risk to support evaluation of opportunities, tenders, and markets
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Desire to take leadership, responsibility, and ownership of tasks under strict deadlines
  • Ability to work effectively as part of an international team, with strong relationship building skills
  • Ability to travel, and be away from home for extended periods
  • Degree level educated with a Bachelors or Masters degree, preferably engineering
