Overview We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a knack for creating memorable experiences for our guests. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting drinks, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring the bar area is well-maintained. Your ability to manage time effectively and adhere to food safety standards will be crucial in this role. Responsibilities - Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences. - Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders, and making recommendations. - Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces. - Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed. - Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including food safety standards. - Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, utilising basic maths skills for billing purposes. - Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food items when applicable. - Assist in training new staff members on bartending techniques and customer service excellence. Qualifications - Previous experience in bartending or a similar role within the hospitality industry is preferred. - Strong knowledge of drink recipes, mixing techniques, and bar equipment. - Excellent time management skills to handle busy periods effectively. - Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude. - Good understanding of food safety practices relevant to beverage preparation. - Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to connect with customers and provide assistance as needed. - Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
