Part-time Bar Person including reception required for busy hotel bar and restaurant in the Winchmore Hotel

Bar work will be 24 hours a week over 4 days between the hours of 4:30 PM and 10:30 PM on Thursday, Saturdays, Sundays, and Monday Evenings (Start time and days will vary when busy)

You may be asked to cover extra days for holidays when needed.

Your main duties will be to serve guests alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. You will also be by yourself in the hotel in the evenings, for this reason the applicant must be over the age of 25 and must have previous experience behind a bar.

Other duties will include keeping the bar area clean and refrigerators stocked.

You will deal with cash/ POS system and card machines.

Your other duties will involve working on reception for any check-ins at the hotel, this will involve you using an online checking-in system and informing the guests of all relevant information.

Also when its quiet you will be required to serve evening meals in our upstairs dining room

You will also be responsible for answering the telephone between these hours, although you will not be expected to take any telephone bookings until full training has been given.

Previous experience in a similar role is desired with previous bar and reception training preferred
