Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a strong understanding of bartending techniques. You will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere, serving drinks, and ensuring customer satisfaction in a fast-paced environment. Your role is crucial in enhancing the overall dining experience for our guests.

Duties

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and standards. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and responsible service of alcohol. Engage with customers, providing excellent service and recommendations based on their preferences. Manage time effectively to serve drinks promptly during busy periods. Handle cash transactions accurately, including basic maths for tab calculations. Assist in restocking supplies and inventory management as needed. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure seamless service during peak hours.

Skills

Strong knowledge of bartending techniques and drink recipes. Excellent hospitality skills with a focus on customer service. Ability to manage time efficiently in a busy environment. Basic maths skills for handling cash and processing orders. Understanding of food safety practices relevant to the bar setting. Previous experience in a restaurant or bar setting is advantageous but not essential. A friendly demeanour with the ability to work well within a team.
