Duties

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring all equipment is in good working order. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders, and responding to inquiries. Assist in managing inventory by monitoring stock levels and placing orders as necessary. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service guidelines. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and coordination during busy periods. Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently while maintaining a balanced till.

Skills

Previous experience in bartending or a similar role within the restaurant industry is preferred. Strong knowledge of drink recipes, mixology techniques, and beverage presentation. Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions and managing tabs effectively. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders during peak hours efficiently. A commitment to food safety practices to ensure the health and wellbeing of guests. Exceptional hospitality skills with the ability to create a friendly and inviting atmosphere for customers.

Pay: 12.50 per hour
