Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a knack for creating delightful experiences for our patrons. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for preparing and serving beverages, maintaining cleanliness at the bar, and ensuring that customers receive exceptional service in a lively restaurant environment.

Duties

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service guidelines. Engage with customers in a friendly manner, taking orders and providing recommendations based on their preferences. Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, utilising basic maths skills for billing purposes. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food and drinks. Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service without compromising quality.

Skills

Proficient in bartending techniques with a solid understanding of beverage preparation. Strong hospitality skills, demonstrating the ability to create an inviting atmosphere for guests. Knowledge of food safety practices to maintain hygiene standards in the bar area. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours. Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude. A willingness to help colleagues and contribute to a team-oriented environment within the restaurant setting.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 13.00-15.00 per hour
