Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a knack for creating delightful experiences for our guests. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for serving beverages, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining a clean and organised bar area. Your ability to manage time effectively while providing exceptional service will be key to your success in this role.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences. Engage with customers, taking orders and providing recommendations based on their tastes. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces. Monitor inventory levels of drinks and supplies, restocking as necessary to ensure availability. Adhere to food safety regulations and responsible serving practices at all times. Handle cash transactions accurately, ensuring proper change is given. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food orders when applicable. Assist in training new bartenders or bar staff as needed, sharing knowledge of best practices in bartending.

Experience

Previous experience in a bartending or hospitality role is preferred Strong knowledge of basic maths for handling cash transactions and calculating drink ratios. Excellent time management skills to efficiently handle busy periods while maintaining quality service. Familiarity with food safety standards is advantageous. A friendly demeanour with the ability to help create a welcoming atmosphere for all guests.
