We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a strong understanding of bartending techniques. You will be responsible for crafting cocktails, serving beverages, and providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Your ability to manage time effectively and maintain food safety standards will be crucial in ensuring a delightful experience for our patrons.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring that all equipment is in good working order. Engage with customers, taking orders and providing recommendations based on their preferences. Monitor customer consumption of alcohol to ensure responsible serving practices. Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, demonstrating basic maths skills for billing purposes. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food and drinks. Uphold food safety standards and hygiene regulations at all times. Assist in restocking supplies as needed, ensuring the bar is well-equipped for service.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Bartender or in a similar role within the hospitality industry is preferred. Strong knowledge of bartending techniques, cocktail recipes, and beverage pairings. Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment. Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour. Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately. Understanding of food safety regulations and best practices in handling food and beverages. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required by the business needs.
