Job Summary

We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Bartender to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for hospitality and a strong understanding of beverage preparation. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests while serving high-quality drinks and providing exceptional customer service.

Duties

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations. Engage with customers, taking orders and providing recommendations based on their preferences. Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, demonstrating basic maths skills. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food and drinks. Manage time effectively during busy periods to maintain high service standards. Monitor inventory levels of beverages and supplies, notifying management when restocking is needed. Uphold the establishment's policies regarding responsible alcohol service.

Experience

Previous bartending experience is preferred but not essential; a willingness to learn is key. Knowledge of food safety practices within a restaurant environment is advantageous. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to create a friendly atmosphere for guests. Basic maths skills are necessary for handling cash and processing transactions accurately.
