Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks according to established recipes and standards. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring all equipment is in good working order. Engage with customers, taking orders efficiently while providing recommendations based on their preferences. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and responsible serving practices. Manage time effectively to serve customers promptly during busy periods. Handle cash transactions accurately and maintain proper records of sales. Assist in training new staff members on bartending techniques and customer service skills. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service during peak hours.

Experience

Previous experience in a bartending role or similar hospitality position is preferred but not essential. Strong knowledge of basic maths for handling transactions and drink measurements. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment. Familiarity with food safety standards and responsible alcohol service is advantageous. A friendly disposition with the ability to engage effectively with customers from diverse backgrounds. A willingness to help colleagues and contribute positively to the team dynamic.

Pay: 12.50-13.00 per hour
