Job Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our vibrant team. As a Barista, you will play a crucial role in creating an inviting atmosphere for our customers while preparing high-quality beverages and food items. Your ability to engage with customers and provide exceptional service will be key to enhancing their experience at our establishment.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages, ensuring quality and consistency. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area, including equipment and utensils. Assist with food preparation, ensuring adherence to food safety standards. Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service during busy periods. Handle customer orders accurately, including taking payments and providing assistance as needed. Engage with customers in a friendly manner, providing recommendations and addressing any queries or concerns. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in all aspects of food handling and preparation.

Experience

Previous experience in a cafe or food service environment is advantageous but not essential. Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately. Knowledge of food safety practices is preferred. Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. A willingness to learn and adapt to new recipes and techniques in beverage preparation.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: 12.21-13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 35 per week
