Job Description

We are currently looking to employ a barista/waiter/waitress for a busy Italian caf\xc3\xa9. As a front of house employee you must provide our clients with a professional and friendly service. You must be able to take food and drink orders, produce beverages and deliver food to the tables. We are looking for someone who has patience, personality and perseverance to work under pressure within this role. Role duties: These include the following: \xc2\xb7 Speaking and interacting with both new and regular customers \xc2\xb7 Provide excellent customer service to ensure satisfaction, being friendly and polite at all times \xc2\xb7 Take customer orders and deliver food \xc2\xb7 Make menu recommendations, answer questions and provide information regarding food allergies \xc2\xb7 Effective communication skills and work well with others during busy periods \xc2\xb7 Up-sell additional products when appropriate \xc2\xb7 Check dishes and kitchenware for cleanliness and presentation \xc2\xb7 Carry dirty plates and glasses to kitchen for cleaning \xc2\xb7 Maintain a clean and sanitised work environment \xc2\xb7 Help with the clean down at the end of the day \xc2\xb7 Regularly perform stock checks and place new orders \xc2\xb7 Follow health and safety guidelines Requirements: \xc2\xb7 Previous experience in the catering industry \xc2\xb7 Hands on experience with cash register and ordering information system \xc2\xb7 Basic maths skills \xc2\xb7 Attentiveness and patience with customers \xc2\xb7 Strong organisational and multitasking skills, with the ability to perform in a fast-paced environment \xc2\xb7 Punctual and maintain regular and consistent attendance \xc2\xb7 Contribute to a positive work environment \xc2\xb7 Must be able to work on weekends and bank holidays Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent Salary: \xc2\xa37.50-\xc2\xa310.50 per hour Benefits:
