Responsibilities

Some 6am starts are crucial for this role.

Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and smoothies. Ensure all food safety standards are met during food preparation and service. Help prepare pastries and breakfast menu in the mornings Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the workspace, including equipment and utensils. Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during peak hours. Assist customers with their orders, providing recommendations and answering any queries they may have. Operate cash registers and handle transactions accurately using basic maths skills. Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment and enhance customer experience.

Experience

Previous experience in a cafe or food service environment is preferred. Knowledge of food safety practices is highly desirable. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently. Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions and managing orders. A friendly demeanour with excellent communication skills to engage with customers effectively.
