Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our vibrant team. As a Barista, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while preparing high-quality beverages and food items. Your attention to detail and commitment to excellent service will ensure that every customer leaves with a smile.

Some 6am shifts are required.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the workspace, adhering to food safety standards. Assist in food preparation, ensuring all items are fresh and presented attractively. Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders accurately, and responding to inquiries. Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service without compromising quality. Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate records of sales. Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment and support each other during peak times.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Barista or in a similar role is preferred but not essential. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions and making change accurately. Knowledge of food safety practices is essential to maintain hygiene standards. A genuine desire to help customers with their choices and provide an enjoyable experience. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as required.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: 11.00-12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 30 per week
