Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our vibrant team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages and providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. Your role will involve not only preparing drinks but also ensuring that our cafe remains a welcoming space for all customers.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the cafe area, including equipment and utensils. Assist customers with their orders, providing recommendations and answering any questions they may have. Ensure adherence to food safety standards and regulations during food preparation and service. Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during peak hours. Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently. Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment and enhance customer experience.

Skills

Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions and managing orders. Experience in food preparation is advantageous, ensuring high standards of quality and safety. Strong time management skills to balance multiple tasks efficiently in a busy setting. A friendly disposition with a willingness to help customers with their needs. Knowledge of food safety practices to maintain hygiene standards in food handling.

Pay: Up to 12.21 per hour
