We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our vibrant team. As a Barista, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service while preparing and serving high-quality beverages and food items. Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages, ensuring consistency and quality in every cup. Assist with food preparation, including pastries and light snacks, adhering to food safety standards. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area, including equipment and utensils. Engage with customers, taking orders accurately and efficiently while providing recommendations when needed. Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate records of sales. Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service. Monitor inventory levels of supplies and assist in restocking as necessary. Uphold health and safety regulations within the cafe environment.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a cafe or food service environment is preferred but not essential. Strong understanding of food safety practices. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently. Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately. A friendly disposition with a passion for helping others. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 12.21-12.50 per hour

Expected hours: 16 - 22 per week
