Job Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will play a crucial role in creating an inviting atmosphere for our customers while preparing and serving high-quality beverages and food items. Your ability to manage time effectively, work efficiently under pressure, and maintain food safety standards will contribute to the overall success of our cafe.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks. Ensure all food items are prepared according to established recipes and food safety guidelines. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the workspace, including equipment and utensils. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders accurately, and addressing any inquiries or concerns. Handle cash transactions and operate the till with precision. Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages as needed. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.

Skills

Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Basic maths skills for accurate cash handling and order processing. Knowledge of food preparation techniques and adherence to food safety standards. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members. A positive attitude and willingness to help others create a welcoming environment.
