In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest services, ensuring a memorable dining experience for all patrons. You will work closely with the kitchen staff and management to deliver high-quality food and service while maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.
Responsibilities
Greet and seat guests promptly, providing menus and information about daily specials.
Take accurate food and drink orders, ensuring all requests are communicated effectively to the kitchen.
Serve food and beverages in a timely manner, checking in with guests to ensure satisfaction.
Upsell menu items when appropriate to enhance the dining experience and increase sales.
Assist with food preparation as needed, adhering to food safety standards at all times.
Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and utensils.
Handle guest inquiries and complaints professionally, providing solutions to enhance their experience.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow during busy periods.
Skills
Strong hospitality skills with a passion for delivering excellent guest services.
Basic culinary knowledge and understanding of food preparation techniques.
Proficient in basic maths for handling transactions and processing payments accurately.
Time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tables during peak hours.
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Familiarity with food safety regulations to ensure compliance in all aspects of service.
Experience in upselling techniques to enhance customer satisfaction and boost sales.
