We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Bar Supervisor to oversee our bar operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for hospitality, ensuring an exceptional experience for our guests. This role requires a blend of bartending expertise, food production knowledge, and the ability to supervise a team effectively within a vibrant restaurant or hotel environment.

Duties

Manage daily bar operations, including staff supervision and scheduling. Develop and implement innovative drink menus that enhance guest experience. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining cleanliness and organisation in the bar area. Train and mentor bar staff in bartending techniques, customer service, and product knowledge. Monitor inventory levels, placing orders as necessary to maintain stock while minimising waste. Collaborate with the culinary team to create complementary food pairings for beverages. Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, ensuring satisfaction at all times. Maintain accurate financial records related to bar sales and expenses.

Requirements

Proven experience in a bar management or supervisory role within the hospitality industry. Strong knowledge of bartending techniques and beverage preparation. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team. Experience in food production is advantageous, particularly in a restaurant or hotel setting. Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required. A passion for creating memorable experiences for guests through exceptional service.
