The Variety Bar is on the hunt for a new addition to our wonderful team.
Established in 1970, this Glasgow institution is seeking a driven, confident and focused individual to assist us in looking after Sauchiehall Street's finest.
The ideal candidate should have a love for great drinks and the ability to give a warm welcome to the wide array of clientele that enters our doors.
We are searching for a part time key holder who is available for both day and evening shifts, opens beginning at 10am and closes ending around 1am. Daily duties involve maintaining the venue to a high standard, securing the building, assisting with menu development, cellar management and stock control. This role is ideal for anyone looking to expand their social media/events management skills.
Barista training is beneficial, however can be provided on induction. Personal license holders are not essential but preferable.
Requirements -
Minimum 18 months key holding experience in a hospitality venue The right to work in the UK A robust understanding of Beer and Ales The ability to travel to and from shifts independently Minimum 1 year of cocktail experience No unspent criminal convictions
