We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Bar Supervisor to oversee the operations of our bar, ensuring a high standard of service and quality. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hospitality and culinary arts, with a passion for creating exceptional guest experiences. As a Bar Supervisor, you will lead a team, manage inventory, and maintain compliance with food safety regulations while fostering a welcoming environment for both staff and patrons.

Duties

Supervise daily bar operations, ensuring excellent customer service and adherence to company standards. Lead, train, and mentor bar staff, promoting teamwork and effective communication. Manage inventory levels, placing orders as necessary to ensure stock availability while minimising waste. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and health codes throughout all bar activities. Collaborate with the kitchen team to create innovative drink menus that complement our culinary offerings. Address customer complaints or concerns promptly and professionally to maintain high satisfaction levels. Organise events or promotions to enhance the bar's visibility and attract new customers.

Qualifications

Proven experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality industry, preferably in a bar or restaurant setting. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team. Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations is essential. Culinary experience is an advantage, particularly in food production or kitchen management. Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required by business needs. A passion for hospitality and creating memorable experiences for guests is essential.
