Overview

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Bar Staff to join our vibrant team. As a key member of our hospitality environment, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our patrons while ensuring a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere. Your role will involve preparing and serving beverages, maintaining cleanliness, and contributing to the overall guest experience.

Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with standard recipes. Engage with customers, taking orders and providing recommendations based on their preferences. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring all equipment is in good working order. Monitor inventory levels, restocking supplies as necessary to ensure seamless service. Adhere to food safety and hygiene regulations at all times. Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure efficient service during busy periods. Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, demonstrating basic maths skills when processing payments. Assist in training new staff members as required, fostering a supportive team environment.

Skills

Previous experience in bartending or a similar role within the restaurant or hospitality industry is highly desirable. Strong time management skills to effectively handle multiple tasks during peak hours. Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service and hospitality. Knowledge of food safety practices to ensure compliance with health regulations. Basic maths skills for accurate cash handling and order processing. A willingness to help colleagues and contribute positively to the team dynamic.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: 11.44-17.21 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 16 per week
