Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic bar Team Member to join our vibrant team at Glasgow's FIRST smokehouse smoking our own meats in our HUGE on site smoker. We have partnered up with Smoke-BBQ, Northern Irelands best smoked meat venue to provide the the best tasting BBQ. You will be on the ground floor of the only venue around to deliver authentic fresh food-based BBQ food with the highest customer service. We provide ongoing customer service training as we want our staff to grow with us like a family, in return all we ask for is effort, commitment, flexibility & most of all passion.

We have bar roles & restaurant service roles available. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, ensuring they receive exceptional service from the moment they enter. You will assist with various tasks, including taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a welcoming environment. Your ability to manage time effectively and engage with customers will be key to creating a memorable dining experience.

Responsibilities

Greet customers warmly upon arrival and assist them in their seating arrangements. Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all dietary requirements are noted. Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation. Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and maximise sales opportunities. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house & bar area, including tables and service stations. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow during busy periods. Handle cash transactions and perform basic maths for billing accurately. Provide assistance to customers as required, ensuring their needs are met throughout their visit.

Experience

Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment is preferred but not essential. Cocktail experience is preferred Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting. A passion for customer service is essential. Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage positively with customers and team members alike.

Pay: 12.21 per hour
