Job Summary

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Bar Staff to join our vibrant team for evening opening during the summer. As a crucial part of our hospitality service, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest experiences while serving beverages and assisting with food preparation. Your role will involve ensuring that our bar area is well-maintained and that customers receive prompt and friendly service.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, in accordance with established recipes and standards. Assist in food preparation as needed, ensuring adherence to food safety guidelines. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils. Engage with guests to provide excellent customer service, addressing any inquiries or concerns promptly. Upsell menu items to enhance the guest experience and increase sales. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food orders. Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including responsible alcohol service practices. Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure efficient service delivery.

Requirements

Previous experience in a bar or restaurant environment is preferred but not essential. Basic maths skills for handling transactions and managing tabs effectively. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours. A passion for hospitality and delivering outstanding guest services. Ability to work well as part of a team or on your own in a fast-paced environment. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required.

Job Types: Part-time, Temporary
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: 12.50-13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 3 - 15 per week
