We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Duty Manager to oversee the daily operations of our bar and Restaurant. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for hospitality, ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service at all times. This role requires a hands-on approach, particularly in the kitchen and restaurant areas, to maintain high standards of food safety and preparation.

Duties

Supervise daily operations within the hotel and restaurant, ensuring smooth service delivery. Lead and motivate kitchen staff, providing guidance in food preparation and cooking techniques. Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in compliance with health regulations. Assist in training new employees, fostering a culture of teamwork and excellence. Handle guest inquiries and complaints professionally, ensuring satisfaction is achieved. Collaborate with other departments to enhance overall guest experience. Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed. Ensure that all areas are well-maintained and organised for optimal functionality.

Skills

Proven leadership abilities with experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality industry. Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen operations. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with staff and guests. Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices. A proactive approach to problem-solving, with the ability to help staff overcome challenges efficiently. Previous experience in a hotel or restaurant environment is highly desirable.
