The position becomes available at the end of May and therefore, the Club are seeking an enthusiast, outgoing person to engage with members and visitors with a high level of service and detail to fulfil the role. They should be familiar with all regulations relating to running a food and beverage outlet.
Experience - Essential
At least one year's food and beverage experience in a supervisory role with relevant industry qualifications and / or designated premises supervisor
Organised and able to manage and prioritise tasks
Demonstrable ability to motivate and lead a team
Financial understanding of profit margins and cost controls
Use of EPOS technology
Desirable attributes
An understanding of health & safety and food hygiene regulations
Experience working in a sporting / club environment
Knowledge of GDPR principles and compliance
Main responsibilities
Lead, motivate and train the team and be the front of house person of the club. Ensure appropriate levels of staff are present on the rota, recruiting staff as necessary
Ordering and control of stock along with regular external stock-take. Liaising with suppliers to maintain current product offerings maximising profitability
Receive enquiries for functions, completing the enquiry to fulfilment with full details informing the relevant departments
Organise with the Social Committee the club's functions
Maintaining the public areas to a clean, tidy and presentable standard
