About our business:

This well-known 4-star hotel in the Fermanagh Lakelands has been owned by the Watson Family since 1976. This established hotel is a notable business with a reputation for excellence in customer service and, while there is a strong seasonal emphasis due to our location, the hotel is open all year round providing a solid function and dining business to our local community. The hotel comprises of 71 tastefully decorated bedrooms, 20 self-catering lodges (14 Lakeside & 6 Woodland with private hot-tubs), a private members Health Club, Elemis Spa with relaxation zone, surrounded by spacious, professionally maintained grounds with lake frontage and unique scenic views. We recently installed a secure children's outdoor play area and are affiliated to the Padel Federation of Ireland on introducing our new Padel Tennis court. 12 Lakeside studios open July 2023.

Our food outlets include Kove, a 100-seater a la carte restaurant, our 150-seater Lakeside Grill Bar and Lounge serving carvery lunch, snack menu and evening grill bar menu and 30-seater Konservatory serving afternoon teas. Our Boathouse Bar offers an extensive range of quality alcoholic beverages, cocktails and wines. Specialist coffees are made to order from our Barista Coffee machine.

Our 3 function rooms cater for private dinners, banquets and events ranging from 80 to 400. Our Sunday Carvery caters from 150 to 700 on speciality occasions such as Mother's Day and our famous Santa Sundays.

Our 3 kitchens were designed in collaboration with Stephens Catering and offer excellent top of the range equipment and the premises hold a "5" Scores on the Doors Elite Food Hygiene Rating with EHO.

Main duties will include, but are not limited to:

Stocking bar - cleaning stock, stock rotation

Cleaning/ polishing glassware & stocking

Preparing garnishes & ice, menus

Provide alcoholic & non-alcoholic/ hot & cold beverage service.

Clear tables, clean, replace furniture, wash glassware, deal with waste.

Clear tables after food service

Receive payments, post room charges.

Have a good standard of education including maths and English Be fully conversant in the English language to meet the requirements of our customer base Be in good health Have high standards Be able to work as part of a busy team. Be flexible, reliable and honest. Full training will be given Have right to work and live in Northern Ireland status. Have a National Insurance Number and a Bank/ savings account (which wages will be paid to)

Desirable:

Previous experience of the role. Knowledge of hotel operations.
