Banking Change Business Analyst VP

Venn Group\xe2\x80\x99s Financial Services team are working with a bank in London and looking to speak with Business Analysts to join the firm\xe2\x80\x99s Change Management department whilst bridging the gap between them and the rest of the business, maintaining responsibility for providing accurate and insightful analyses into their existing policies, procedures, and systems, and investigating and reporting on any potential or actual issues.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate a successful track record of working as a Business Analyst within Finance-related projects in Financial Services institutions. They must demonstrate BA capabilities in conjunction with the front-to-back lifecycle.

It is essential that they have an appreciation and experience of financial reporting, accounting regulations, and product control, as this will allow the individual to assimilate into the organisation and hit the ground running, working to optimise the efficiency of their activities whilst mitigating any risks to productivity or those enabling regulatory breaches.

On a daily basis, the role holder will interpret and document BRDs, assume responsibility for translating them into actionable business plans for distribution to the wider departments. They will also be responsible for conducting financial modelling and reconciliation, interpreting discrepancies between datasets, and advising on newer best practices.

Naturally, a high level of communication will be required in order to be successful in this position, as the individual will sit between departments, participate in regular and ad hoc steering committee meetings, and enhance the bank\xe2\x80\x99s reporting capabilities through appropriate assessment and recommendation of policies.
