About the Role:
As a Bank Support Worker, you'll play a vital role in supporting children and young people with emotional and behavioural needs, helping them build positive routines and achieve their potential. Working on a flexible, as-needed basis, this role is perfect for individuals looking for rewarding work that fits around other commitments.
Key Responsibilities:
Providing high-quality care and support in line with individual care plans
Building trusting relationships with children and young people
Supporting daily routines, education, and recreational activities
Managing challenging behaviours with empathy and professionalism
Maintaining a safe and clean home environment
Keeping accurate records and contributing to care planning
What We're Looking For:
Experience working with children or young people (residential care experience desirable)
A compassionate, resilient, and patient approach
Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
NVQ Level 3 in Residential Childcare (or willingness to work towards it) is an advantage
Enhanced DBS check required (can be arranged)
